Named after the iconic alpine flower, the Edelweiss Trail is one of Zermatt’s most rewarding and scenic hikes.
Following a crystal-clear mountain stream, the route climbs to the stunning Höhbalmen Plateau, where vast alpine meadows, surrounded by mountains in every direction and dominated by the Matterhorn, create an unforgettable landscape - as if you’ve stepped into another world.
